Watch: The Wall of Change

Chatter and laughter are flying as fast as construction paper and pipe cleaners this morning as some 600 delegates bring to life their vision for change in the next seven years at Kaiser Permanente.

After celebrating the legacy of one of KP and the Coalition’s highest regarded union leaders, Rhonda Goode, conference attendees are working as a T-UBT, or “Table Unit Based Team” to create a poster illustrating the change they’d like to see by 2017.

Some are contemplating the far side of the hall for inspiration. Others are already huddled over their posters coloring and cutting, having quickly found their muse in the pipe cleaners and magazine images.

But all are coming together to tell their own story of change…and it has added up to something big.

Check out this video capturing some scenes from the creation of the Wall of Change.

Wall of change

This was an amazing wall. I cannot say enough about what a great idea this was. I also enjoyed helping Cassandra and Tyra get the supplies for this exercise.

Wall of Change

I watched, as I was launched above the plenary floor, to see a sea of teams chattering away and then not wanting to tear themselves away as the time was ending.  What a magnificent display of teamwork and the final results were just beautiful!
