Make time for quality

18 ways that KP’s frontline managers, workers and physicians have been recognized by outside experts

The upcoming 2010 National Quality Conference is a great way for frontline teams to share ideas and learn new ways to improve performance and better serve our members and patients. Kaiser Permanente quality and service leaders are encouraging managers to allow staff to attend.

This year’s conference, held entirely online for the first time, will give employees the opportunity to hear from leading experts in service quality, patient safety, and clinical effectiveness—from the comfort of their own facility. Virtual attendees can sign on to four plenary sessions and 24 breakout workshops. They’ll also have the chance to speak with senior regional leaders and earn up to 24 Continuing Medical Education credits.

The theme of the conference is “Leading the Nation”—a reminder, following the passage of health care reform, that KP is well positioned to become the nation’s leading provider by offering the highest-quality care and service at an affordable price.

The virtual conference will be live on May 24th and 25th and most facilities will have conference available to allow attendees to view sessions together.
