Transforming health care, region by region
Want to know how your region stacks up against the others?
This section provides information about how many unit-based teams are working in each region and how teams are doing in meeting their 2014 goal for high performance.
You will also find regional stories, LMP contacts, information on your region's Performance Sharing Program (PSP) goals and more.
The 2012 National Agreement sets aggressive targets for the increase in the number of high-performing unit-based teams. The goal for 2014 is for 75 percent of UBTs (a total of 2,576 teams across Kaiser Permanente) to achieve high-performing status by the end of the year. That means 790 teams across KP need to move to Level 4 or 5 by the end of 2014.
After rapid gains in the number of high-performing UBTs in 2011 and 2012, growth slipped in 2013 program-wide. However, Georgia, Hawaii, the Mid-Atlantic States and the Northwest region exceeded their year-end goals for 2013, and all regions are working to hit their targets for 2014.
