Regions

Kaiser Permanente and the Labor Management Partnership operate in seven regions across the United States. These regions serve the needs of their respective KP members and patients, guided by a common set of partnership principles and practices. Learn more about each.

Colorado

Serves 675,000 members in 30 medical offices. Of its 279 unit-based teams, 224 (80 percent) were rated high performing as of Oct. 1, 2016.

Georgia

Serves 296,000 members in 26 medical offices. Of its 116 unit-based teams, 81 (70 percent) were rated high performing as of Oct. 1, 2016.

Hawaii

Serves 247,000 members throughout the islands, in 27 medical offices and one hospital. Of its 61 unit-based teams, 37 (61 percent) were rated high performing as of Oct. 1, 2016.

Mid-Atlantic States

Serves 667,000 members in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Of its 248 unit-based teams, 171 (66 percent) were rated high performing as of Oct. 1, 2016.

Northern California

Serves 3.9 million members in 238 medical offices and 21 hospitals. Of its 1,312 unit-based teams, 872 (66 percent) were rated high performing as of Oct. 1, 2016.

Northwest

Serves 545,000 members in Oregon and Washington, in 30 medical offices, 18 dental offices and two hospitals. Of its 413 unit-based teams, 279 (68 percent) were rated high performing as of Oct. 1, 2016.

Southern California

Serves 4.2 million members in 221 medical offices and 14 hospitals. Of its 1,095 unit-based teams, 776 (71 percent) were rated high performing as of Oct. 1, 2016.

National Functions

A recent addition to the UBT program, these departments (Finance, Health Plan Administration and IT) serve KP members, patients and staff across the program. Of 83 unit-based teams, 34 (41 percent) were rated high performing as of Oct. 1, 2016.
