Regions

The Labor Management Partnership operates in seven of Kaiser Permanente's eight operating regions across the United States. These regions serve the needs of their respective KP members and patients, guided by a common set of partnership principles and practices. Learn more about each.

Colorado

Serves 673,000 members in 39 medical offices. Of its 282 unit-based teams, 242 (86 percent) were rated high performing as of Nov. 1, 2017.

Georgia

Serves 306,000 members in 26 medical offices. Of its 118 unit-based teams, 75 (64 percent) were rated high performing as of Nov. 1, 2017.

Hawaii

Serves 251,000 members throughout the islands, in 27 medical offices and one hospital. Of its 61 unit-based teams, 48 (79 percent) were rated high performing as of Nov. 1, 2017.

Mid-Atlantic States

Serves 703,000 members in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia in 30 medical offices. Of its 262 unit-based teams, 198 (76 percent) were rated high performing as of Nov. 1, 2017.

Northern California

Serves 4.1 million members in 242 medical offices and 21 hospitals. Of its 1,325 unit-based teams, 911 (69 percent) were rated high performing as of Nov. 1, 2017.

Northwest

Serves 576,000 members in Oregon and Southwest Washington, in 56 medical and dental offices and two hospitals. Of its 422 unit-based teams, 366 (87 percent) were rated high performing as of Nov. 1, 2017.

Southern California

Serves 4.4 million members in 225 medical offices and 15 hospitals. Of its 1,092 unit-based teams, 810 (74 percent) were rated high performing as of Nov. 1, 2017.

National Functions

The latest addition to the UBT program, these departments (Finance, Health Plan Administration and IT) serve KP members, patients and staff across the program. Of 74 unit-based teams, 38 (51 percent) were rated high performing as of Nov. 1, 2017.
