Standing Agreements
Enduring guidelines for our work
The Labor Management Partnership is governed by a series of agreements between the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions and Kaiser Permanente. The founding partnership agreement was signed in 1997.
The Reaffirmations and Understandings pamphlet from 2002, while not a formal agreement, is valuable for those interested in the formation and development of the Labor Management Partnership. It provides insight into LMP vision and principles.
Other select agreements
Other key agreements include the Employment and Income Security Agreement, which governs how jobs affected by new technologies and other workplace changes will be negotiated, and the Ebola Safety and Education Agreement, which protects caregivers as well as patients.
