Moving Along the Path: Team Member Engagement Level 3 or Level 4 or Level 5

Requirements for a Level 3 or Level 4 or Level 5 UBT working on Team Member Engagement:
  • Level 3: Team members understand key performance metrics
  • Level 3: At least half of team members can articulate what the team is improving and what their contribution is
  • Level 4: Unit performance data is discussed regularly
  • Level 4: Large majority of team members are able to articulate what the team is improving and their contribution
  • Level 5: Team members able to connect unit performance to broader strategic goals of company
  • Level 5: Full transparency of information
  • Level 5: Team is working on tests of change related to staffing, scheduling, financial improvement, and other daily operations issues
